The Ultimate Cheesy Bacon Ranch Party Dip

Christmas is right around the corner and you know what that means... Christmas parties!!! Everyone loves a good Christmas party. My favorite part of course is the hodge podge of food. I love sampling everyones tasty dishes. I’m always looking for a crowd pleasing dip that is easy and recipe sharing worthy. Ladies and gents.... I’ve got one. Who doesn’t love cheese, bacon, and ranch? I’ve honestly never met someone who doesn’t. Maybe thats because I live in the south. Regardless.. this dip is BOMB. It was absolutely devoured!!! I cannot wait to make this dip again. As for you my acid watcher friends.. this dip is not acid reflux friendly but if you made it with a homemade ranch seasoning, I think it might fall under being somewhat approved. Since I was making this for a party I didn’t care that it wasn’t AWD approved! I of course snuck a bite or 50. Hey... I‘m only human?! Make this dip y’all!!!!!! It’s fan-freaken-tastic.


  • 3oz package of all natural bacon bits or 5-7 slice of cooked bacon chopped.

  • 16oz container or light sour cream (or regular)

  • 8oz package of cream cheese

  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese (I prefer white because it isnt dyed. Cheddar cheese isn’t supposed to orange.. it’s naturally white!) HAND GRATE.. it makes all the difference in the world with melting and flavor. I used the Cabot brand white cheddar.

  • 1 packet of ranch dressing mix

  • I topped my dip with dried parsley


  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

  • Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl or a large bowl and combine with a mixer or by hand! Place in an oven safe dish and bake for 30 minutes.
